The hope of heaven sets our mission as a local church. It shapes the message we share with others, and the life we share together.

You do have to grieve. But you don’t have to grieve without hope.

There is no peace without hope, and no hope without heaven.

In heaven we will be perfected by sight. In the meantime, on earth, we are being purified by hope.

For a Christian, the day of judgment is a day to long for, because on that day we will finally see ourselves as God already sees us in Christ, defined not by all our sins and failures but by his beautiful, spotless righteousness.

No one is ever fully satisfied, and often the better we seem to have it the worse we seem to feel. How did we get here? And what can be done about it?

At the center of the Christian life Paul places intentional, disciplined focus on the hope of heaven. Why?
