MATTHEW ECTON, Pastoral Assistant

Matthew Ecton serves as a Pastoral Assistant at Edgefield Church. He spent most of his upbringing on through college in Edmond, Oklahoma. He holds a B.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) and an M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS). He is currently pursuing a Th.M in Historical & Theological Studies from SBTS. Prior to joining Edgefield in May of 2023, Matthew completed a Pastoral Internship with Covenant Baptist Church in Denton, TX. He and his wife Colette welcomed their first child, a daughter, in the summer of 2023.

ELIZABETH KREBS, Children’s Ministry Administrator

Elizabeth Krebs serves as the Children’s Ministry Administrator at Edgefield Church. She also serves on the worship team and is married to Nathan. Nathan and Elizabeth welcomed their first child, a daughter, in early 2023.

MATT McCULLOUGH, Pastor

Matt McCullough serves as a pastor of Edgefield Church. Before joining with Edgefield, he helped to plant Trinity Church near Vanderbilt University and served as pastor for ten years. He and his wife Lindsey first moved to Nashville for graduate school at Vanderbilt, where he completed a PhD in American religious history. He's written two books, including Remember Death: The Surprising Path to Living Hope. And he writes on occasion for 9Marks and the Gospel Coalition. Matt and Lindsey are the parents of three young boys.

JUSTIN TURNER, Director of Operations

Justin Turner serves as Director of Operations at Edgefield Church. Before joining Edgefield, Justin worked as an accountant for various organizations including CRISTA Ministries and Getty Music. He and his wife Haley have three young and wild boys.
