“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” (Philippians 1:3-4)

Edgefield belongs to several networks of like-minded churches for partnership in gospel ministry.

9Marks

9Marks exists to equip church leaders with a biblical vision and practical resources for displaying God’s glory to the nations through healthy churches. Pastor Matt McCullough writes occasionally for 9Marks, and has contributed to their Church Questions series with the booklet: Does God Love Everyone?

Association of Churches for Missions and Evangelism (ACME)

The ACME Fellowship exists to unite and mobilize like-minded churches to fund pastors, church planters, missionaries, and other projects around the world. Edgefield Church joined the network as a founding ACME church in 2023.

The Pillar Network

The Pillar Network is a community of Southern Baptist & International Baptist Churches that are doctrinally aligned, missionally driven, & committed to equipping, planting, & revitalizing churches, together. Edgefield was privileged to host Pillar’s Spring Intensive conference in Spring 2024. We also host a quarterly lunch for Pillar pastors and other friends.

The Gospel Coalition (Nashville Chapter)

In 2025, Edgefield was pleased to play a part in launching TGC - Nashville Chapter along with several other likeminded churches in the area. Our pastor, Matt McCullough, serves on the Steering Team for the chapter along with TJ Tims and Sam Allberry of Immanuel Church - Nashville. Though diverse in church size and denominations, we share a commitment to the centrality of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We gather quarterly for a pastors’ fellowship, as well as a talk aimed toward equipping pastors and churches for evangelism in our city.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)

Edgefield Church is in friendly cooperation with the churches of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) for the sake of gospel ministry in the world. We contribute to the SBC cooperative program through financial giving to and through our state convention (Tennessee Baptist Mission Board). These funds are used to support cooperative ministries such as SBC seminaries, church planting in North America through the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and mission work around the world through the International Mission Board (IMB).
